Description

Earthborne is a 2D crafting adventure sandbox game featuring industrial development and automation. Starting off as a lost traveller in the swamp, explore a vast open world, fight enemies, gather resources and build a new technological civilization complete with airships and robotic drones!

History

Earthborne was created by a small group of sandbox enthusiasts from Melbourne, Australia. The project has been in development for about 5 years. We couldn’t find a 2D sandbox game that had all the features we wanted, such as industrial development and automation - so we decided to build our own! We’re super excited to share Earthborne with the world!

Features

  • Create a living, functional technological civilization, play with up to 8 friends and let your imagination run wild!

  • Connect industry with conveyor belts, airfields and teleporters. Create vast chains of buildings that cover the entire map!

  • Grow your settlement by hiring villagers and train them into technical specialists

  • Generate the power needed for your refineries from water, wind and coal

  • Manufacture complex items and craft them into hundreds of weapons, sets of armour, machines or decorative items

  • Play any way you want. Create a secret underground laboratory or a build a secluded farming village, dig a hobbit hole and manufacture pocket watches or construct a solemn stone tower and lord over a vast industrial estate.

  • Build robotic drones to mine and farm automatically!

  • Explore 10 biomes for resources and loot. Fight over 50 enemies!

  • Three different classes of armour - ranged, heavy and arcane

  • Create vast industrial infrastructure to obtain resources for end game weapons, armour and accessories to complete the end game airship challenge!

  • Story mode with quests and bosses
